The past few weeks here at SWIX have definitely been exciting. If you've stumbled upon this post via our website, you've probably noticed that we are sporting a different look, and if you've logged into our SWIX account, you can see without doubt we've changed a few things. With the help of feedback and the inspiration of our users we've taken upon ourselves to create something new.
Today, we are releasing our newest social marketing module that allows you to promote and track the ROI of marketing offers in social media. What is an offer you ask? An offer can something like a document download, an event registration, or the purchase a product- and is often found on a separate landing page. For this feature, we take the URL of a landing page or website that presents an offer and we provide the you with a shortened URL to use in promoting the offer to your communities in social media.

Once you start promoting your landing page or your offer to your community, SWIX tracks all clicks, conversion and revenue on the landing page by each social media property.
Ah yes, it doesn’t stop there- if your offer includes the purchase of a product, SWIX calculates the total amount of money that was generated and brought to you from each of your social media platforms and shows you which properties performed the best. We also allow you to subtract costs from the amount made to determine the exact ROI numbers that can be attributed to social media.
What if it doesn’t include a purchase of a product? Well, if your offer is activity based, we provide also provide full metrics regarding which social media properties generated the most activity as well as provide non-financial ROI metrics.
The end result (THE WIN) is an additional arsenal of metrics to allow you to improve your social media efforts. Half the battle is knowing which platforms are the most active, influential, and well in short, work the best. Why waste your time with something if it isn’t working or isn’t making you money?
