If you’re using SWIX already you know we have some good looking reporting options. But sometimes your client needs more sexiness in regards to graphs. We get it, they like pie charts, color coding, more then one metric on a graph. We appreciate an infographic as much as any other marketing type. If you haven’t had a chance to make custom graphs with SWIX data you should! CSV data comes with all of our plans and allows you export your SWIX numbers to Excel or Numbers for you to manipulate further. Here’s a step by step post on how to git ‘yer graphin’ on .
1. Anywhere in SWIX you can select the “DATA” tab to export your information. The data will correspond to the brand you are currently viewing.
2. You can import all of the data from that brand dashboard or you can pick and choose which pod information you want to download.
3. Once you data is selected, click to download the file(s), and you'll be able to open your data in a numbers processing application.
4. In this case, I’ve chosen to download every single pod. The date range will be if the first column and the data type will be in the first row. The data collected will be from the first day you created the pod.
5. I chose the five columns that had the data we needed and then plotted it. I’d thought I’d have a little fun, and create a graph of Mike, Scott, Craig, myself (Carolynn) and Swix's Twitter followers over time- in this case 1 year. It’s not always about number of followers, but about the strength of you community. So, this is in no means, a competition!
VOILA!
